Sadly I didn’t get to post for 10 on 10 in August because it was a crazy busy month,
but I made it happen for September. WOOHOO!
And what adventure do I have this month?
Chaperoning a gaggle of 30 sophomores & juniors for my favorite son’s SWEET 16!
Thankfully his dad and I were on board and up for it. But MAN was it tough trying to be aloof aware observers, allowing the
party goers some space, and achieving a few snaps withOUT looking like total nerds (but who cares).
Tougher than it sounds. Yet the party was a success for our guy, happily.
CORN HOLE anyone?
For the first half hour, I think there were more girls than guys….Rook’s dad asked me if Rook actually invited any guys!
He did. But for sure more girls were on the list. 🙂
Thumbs up on the grub. <3
Glo sticks are a hit. Even at a boy’s sweet 16.
The only kid I know that has never asked for a birthday cake! Every year, chocolate chips cookies,
usually from Nestle Tollhouse Bakery. This year he wanted to have everyone make their own cookie sandwiches with ice cream.
If the candle fits the cookie….
Sweet friends.
The cops weren’t called. No one was hurt. And some of them came back to have fun a couple of weeks later.
Success!
