The “J” Family Spring session. Hiking, stick fights, and OOPS! POISON OAK!!
Each session with the “J” littles is unique. A different location is chosen each time of the year, and then I simply let them run free,
chasing them, and hoping that they are in focus. Also hoping that I don’t miss any of the single portraits for each child.
I HAVE come close to missing one a couple of times since the sessions run like a wildfire. This hiking path was a perfect location
for the spring session, but I totally forgot that there is one patch with poison oak….and we had to do a quick lesson in what it looks like!
Ggrrr, my fault! I hike with my kids here often and they know the spots to look out for, so it was a little off my radar. Never again.
I think everyone escaped without incident accept Mr. J!
I departed from my normal mix of color and black & white edits for this blog post, because I wanted to allow the fun of the kids’
action and facial expressions to tell the story. I have been shooting this family multiple times a year for 5 years now…WOW!!
My favorite part of shooting them is the giggling and the never ending respect and love they have for each other. Never was there a more
behaved and mannered group of 6 kids….EVER! The BEST parts of seeing them each session are the big hugs and tackles I get!
They are such a part of my heart and will always feel like family. Thank you J Family. 🙂
